…and thank you for the interest on having your kids, or yourself, take music lessons. Numerous studies have shown that music is an important element in a child’s development. Music helps a child develop a higher level of concentration and analytical thinking and also increases his/hers self-esteem and social skills. Music lessons for adults help relieve the stress of everyday life and provides a way to constantly challenge brain and motor-skill functions.
It is a fact that the sooner a student starts the greater the results at a short and long term; however, a individual of any age can take advantage of the benefits that music lessons provide. There is not a minimum, nor a maximum age to learn music. The only requirement to start music lessons is the desire to do it.
We, at Scherzo Music Studio offer Music Discovery classes for preschool children, piano, guitar, violin, flute, recorder and voice private and group lessons for children 6 years and up and for adults, plus other services like practice-room rentals, and music workshops for active students.
